The second part of creating a disjoint rollover is attaching a behavior to the trigger area.
To set up a Swap Image behavior for a disjoint rollover:
1 | Select the Web object you want to use as the trigger. |
2 | Choose Swap Image from the Add Action (+) pop-up menu in the Behaviors inspector. |
The Swap image dialog box appears. | |
3 | Choose a slice object for the swap area: |

Click the name of a slice object from the list at the top of the Swap Image dialog box. This list displays all of the slice objects in the document by their currently assigned name. |

Click a slice in the slice diagram. The slice diagram displays how the document is sliced. |
4 | Choose the source for the swap: |

Click Frame No. and choose a frame number to swap in when the rollover is triggered. Only the area immediately below the target slice object on the specified frame is used. |

Click Image File and enter or browse to the name of an external file to swap in when the rollover is triggered. |
5 | Choose Restore Image onMouseOut to swap the original image back into the slice when the pointer is moved away from the trigger area. |
6 | Choose Preload Images. |
